Youth Ambassadors Program

New program that equips emerging leaders with the skills,
knowledge, and confidence to address community needs

Program

Develop young Ukrainian Canadian leaders

This program aims to empower young people by nurturing leadership
abilities. Participants will cultivate these skills through workshops,
interactive sessions, and real-world projects.
They will also be mentored by senior community leaders representing different sectors.

Enable Youth Action

Youth Ambassadors will conceptualize and organize one project, incorporating learnings of the program into planning, execution and closure stages.

Amplify Youth Voices

Participants will have the unique opportunity to connect with like-minded peers from diverse regions across Canada. They will engage with UCC branches and member organizations.
This nationwide network will foster a sense of unity and collaboration, encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences.

Make a difference

Champion the UCC Youth Ambassadors Program in partnership with the UCC Charitable and Educational Trust.

With your support, we will empower the future leaders of our community with the skills needed to make a lasting difference in both the Ukrainian community, Canada, and by extension our beloved Ukraine.

I am sincerely inspired by the powerful infrastructure of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) and the love and dedication with which the Ukrainian community nurtures its roots and fights for a better future. Becoming a part of this has been an extraordinary experience for me.

The Youth Ambassadors program is an incredible platform for meeting active and inspiring Ukrainian youth from all provinces of Canada. It offers a unique space for collaboration and learning. This program gave me the opportunity to gain knowledge from high-level experts on building the Ukrainian community in Canada and advocating for Ukraine’s interests at both the provincial and federal levels.

Olha Simoroz

Youth Ambassador, Quebec

As part of the Youth Ambassador Program, my project, Roots and Grains, was a Ukrainian-themed tree that celebrated the resilience and richness of Ukrainian culture while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

Being a Youth Ambassador has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to bridge cultural heritage with community impact. This program has not only strengthened my leadership skills but also deepened my commitment to community service. Moving forward, I plan to continue supporting and advocating for the Ukrainian-Canadian community by organizing cultural initiatives, fostering connections, and finding new ways to give back.
